Itinerary

Day 1 – Pitec to Tullpacocha

We will come pick you up at your hostel at 7am to drive you to Pitec at 3,850m where we will start our trek. We will hike up to the Tullpacocha Camp at 4,300m where we will spend the night

Distance: 13km

Hiking time: 6 hours

Day 2 – Tullpacocha to Palcacocha

After a nice breakfast we hike up to the highest pass of our trek: Huapi Pass culminating at 5,050m above sea level. We then descend to Palcacocha Camp.

Distance: 14km

Hiking time: 7 hours

Day 3 – Palcacocha to Portada de Cojup

On this day, the hike is mostly flat in a beautiful valley full of Quenual trees and Taulli flowers which are purple.

Our private transportation service will be waiting for us to bring us back to Huaraz.
